I was: at Higher Astley

Postby Steven » Tue Jul 20, 2010 8:30 pm

If you have been a regular reader of the forums, you might have noticed mention of an old area in Newton called 'Hazel Grove' which used to be half way along Vista Road.

So knowing that, In the same theme of things, I wonder if you can tell me, if I said I was at 'Higher Astley'.

Where I would be?

I think Pod's correct. Wasn't it the the large house at the end of Vitriol square that was
occupied by one of John Thompson's (sugar works) staff at the time
