Hi, Thanks for visiting my Newton le Willows website

Hopefully your all enjoying your look around this newton le willows based website, and hopefully you will not think it too unreasonable of me to ask for a few minutes of your time

I am looking for help to collect photos of the area, general scenes of places, streets, churches, parks, they do not have to be ancient, things have changed so much in the last few years that even pictures of once everyday places will now be of interest to younger people,

for eg:

The British Legion on Vista Rd/Crow lane - if you have photos of that could you scan them and email em to me,

If you have pictures of the newton stations demolished building, Built over railway sidings, McCorqadales Printers, Newton Hall, Park Hall, The Colleries, Park side, Vista Rd etc.

What agout the Brick Works, Sankey Suger, The Gas Works, Glass works or the Old fire station, even general images of your friends, relatives, if these images have prominent places in the background, people wil be interested to see how things were

If you have photos, which are wasteing away lying in a drawer, please consider contacting me, and we can arrange for them to be scanned, and added to the photo gallery I am building on the area.

please contact me vai this email address steven.dowd@newton-le-willows.com

Thanks for your Time

Steven - I have a picture of the Viaduct Band in front of the Viaduct Institute that I can scan for you if you are interested. I have it because my grandad Newton is on it! Please let me know. Cheers, Pam Hillier

Anything you have, will always be of interest, If you can scan them at 200 to - 300dpi and send them to me that would be great, or I can borrow them and scan them if your local..
