Never knew the projectionist but did know the usher who worked there..He was called Freddie Harrison and used to shine his torch at we rowdy kids and say *Now tuttup or else al throw buddy titten sink at thi* Roughly translated Fred meant * Now boys do you mean awfully being quiet or else I shall have to resort to hurling the bloody Chicken sink at you* Whether Freddie was related to the Harrison family who had cinema owning connections in the town I don't know
